Ed: 99 bottles of Root Beer on the wall, 99 bottles of

Sarah: ED!

What?

We have just gotten done with 18 hours in the car! You don't need to keep singing once we are back!

But I like that song... It is all about Root Beer! Mmmm... such a wonderful beverage... especially with Ice Cream!

Ed!

What?

Aren't you getting a bit off topic?

What am I supposed to be talking about?

Well, why don't you tell our readers about the trip we just took?

What trip?

The one we were in the car for 18 hours on the way there, and 18 hours on the way back.

Oh, that trip! We went to Texas! And let me tell you how nice and warm it was! I watched my companion run around in shorts and t-shirts all week! It was very nice out! And oh boy! The food!!! I got to sit on the table and watch the food, since it was time for leftovers, and they were playing cards! I got to be the lucky lizard!

What else did you do Ed?

Well... We went to the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Cristi! I got to see dolphins and crocodiles and stingrays and lots of fish and a diver and

Ed!

What?

That was terrible grammar!

I'm Sorry... or as I heard a lot of people say... Lo Siento! (That is Spanish for I'm sorry!) In Texas, many people speak Spanish because of how close to the border to Mexico they are. A lot of people come over to visit family and a lot of people move here!

What else did you do Ed?

I went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico!!

What was that like?

It was kind of chilly... maybe I should go another time in the summer! We saw lots of jellyfish washed up on the coast though. It was sad to see so many of them out of the water. We touched one!

And what did that feel like?

Jelly!

Did you have anything else you would like to say?

Hi Nicky and Jeb!! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I miss you!!

Voting

Last week, Ed got to participate in something very special. Ed got to vote with his companion! He had so much fun at the booth, picking all of the candidates he thought would run the country well. (At least in lizard standards) He had a great time. Then, after voting, his companion brought him with her to Culver's for some good food! After eating cheese curds at Culver's, they went to Bible Study, where Ed got to learn about king David. Ed also learned, that he was the only boy there! It was a ladies Bible Study! Maybe next time he will stay home!

Keeping other company

Ed has recently returned to me, after he took a little journey to a bed, which belonged to Mrs. Bues. I will relay the story to you, on behalf of the esteemed Ed.

Ed quietly sneaked through the house, on Friday, October 31. He passed beside the dog, went down the stairs, and through the living room. He continued through the hallway, and came upon the master bedroom. He took his time, choosing his place, deciding that he would be most... effective... in between the two pillows on the side of the bed he believed to have belonged to Mrs. Bues. He sat quietly and waited, for he didn't want to miss the fun! Later, after a long wait, Mrs. Bues came to bed. She did not turn on the light, which worked to Ed's favor! She reached between the pillows to move the one on top and...... THERE WAS ED! He giggled in glee as he took to flight and landed upon the dresser. He might have to try finding more places to hide!

He has now been resting after that fun experience and can't wait to cause more mischief!

Hello

Hey Nicky and Jeb,

It's great to hear from you! I hid in the drawer at work yesterday! It was a lot of fun until Karen (the person that found me) told my companion that she had better be careful or I would fall behind the drawer and be stuck in the store forever! My companion quickly took me out and then sat me on her order book to keep her company while she was ordering! It was such fun! I have not yet "visited" Mrs. Bues... but I plan to! I might even plan to "visit" your brother when he comes! Just a warm welcome from his old buddy Ed! I'm glad you like the idea of a book! I shall have my companion begin work right away! I miss you all out there in Virginia! Talk to you later!

Working Working Working

After recovering from his workday on Friday, Ed was finally able to dictate a message about work to all of his friends. He enjoyed his day and spent several hours in hiding in the closet at the store where his companion works. Ed really likes work, because he can make new friends! He definitely is not sure why it is called work though! All he did was hang on the wall and watch people get coats and put away things. He even tried to scare a few! Perhaps he will explore a new hiding place to help get a better reaction next time! Whew, he sure was worn out after his day and has enjoyed perusing his current room from a nice, elevated position!

Sneaking Around

Ed found his way into his companion's pocket last night, and to her glee, she found him on the way to work today! He got to meet a couple of her co-workers and hang on the wall in the closet, so he could say "hi" to any that opened the door. He plans on returning tomorrow to meet more people and to help unpack boxes! He also discovered a list had been made of things he could do that rhymes with his name! He will have to get to work on photodocumenting these rhymes! Perhaps he could come up with his own book! Ed would like to know what everyone else thinks about a book all about him!

The Kitchen

Today, Ed decided he would like to explore the kitchen. He was sneaking about, looking for great places to hide for future mischief! He thinks the refrigerator might have some good places, but he does not think he would like to sit in there too long! He also really likes the silverware drawer, for many will be looking in it for utensils! He snacked on some Amish made bread and honey... mmmmm. He was quite pleased with his findings in the kitchen. He plans on going to work on Friday, for some fun!
